Historic Preservation
The Adams Co. Historical Society promotes Historic Preservation by raising public awareness, advising building owners about preservation, nominating buildings and districts to the National Register of Historic Places and assisting with the Historic Buildings Survey.
Financial Assistance
Federal Tax Incentive Program-10% and 20% Tax Credit available for income producing historical properties.
State Tax Incentive Program-VIP (Valuation Incentive Program)
Tax Abatement program for properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places and contributing properties located within a National Register Historic District.
Local Facade Rehabilitation Grant Program
